  1. Thanks for the article Ross. Interesting gear, although I would like to see more shots with this thing. Perhaps the 550D would be a better fit, because of the lighter body?

Also, shame about Eric’s ‘look at my uber-cool-pretty-super-expensive-helicopter’ attitude.

That’s superb, and opens up many shooting possibilities. Whether it would need permission/permit from the CAA here in the UK is another matter. I love the fact that it uses electric motors and gyros for stability. Looks beautifully made, too. Though if Zacuto decide to make one it’ll probably cost $100,000!

Thanks Mischa and Greg for your comments.

Greg – I think it takes a bit of practice, and a degree of understanding how the helicopter works. The main thing that Eric points out is – you must not crash this thing!

If you get on – let me know!!

Thanks for the comments and if you have any questions about is capabilities, please post it here on VideoDSLR.TV

I will be happy to answer as best I can.

    More to come soon!!!

    Take Care,
    Eric

This is the best kind of ridiculous!

I could have used a rig like this in Dallas last month.
